37th Anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Public School Celebrated with Enthusiasm

Malir (Reporter) The 37th anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Public School, Darsano Chhano, Karachi, run under the administration of the historic Sindh Madressah Board, was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm. Member of the National Assembly Abdul Hakeem Baloch and Managing Director of Sindh Education Foundation, Ghanwar Khan Leghari, attended the ceremony as chief guests Addressing the gathering, MD SEF Ghanwar Khan Leghari said that the progress of the nation is only possible when no child is left out of school and equal educational opportunities and facilities are provided to all. “We must seriously think about the issue of out-of-school children and work collectively to resolve it,” he emphasized. He further expressed his delight at being present in the institution founded by the visionary personality of the subcontinent, Nisar Hassan Ali Afandi, whose foresight led to the establishment of Quaid-e-Azam Public School 37 years ago. He added that Afandi’s services in the field of education are unforgettable and deserve tribute.
The ceremony was also addressed by MNA Abdul Hakeem Baloch, Ashfaq Memon, Shafiq-ur-Rehman Paracha, Dr. Shaista Afandi, Professor Parveen Munshi, and the school’s principal Professor Dr. Altaf Hussain Shah.
