COAS Calls for Integrity & Unity in Civil-Military Collaboration

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir emphasized the importance of integrity, professionalism, and national dedication during an address to probationary officers of the 52nd Common Training Programme (CTP) at the Army Auditorium. The session, part of efforts to strengthen civil-military synergy, provided young civil servants with insights into Pakistan’s security landscape and governance challenges.

As part of their training, the officers were attached to Army formations in Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan, gaining exposure to both peacetime and operational environments. Through visits and interactions with military leadership, they developed a deeper appreciation of the Armed Forces’ role in national security and development.

COAS Munir highlighted the need for cohesive governance, stressing that a capable and transparent civil bureaucracy is essential for Pakistan’s stability. He discussed internal and external security challenges while underscoring the military’s commitment to regional peace. The officers expressed gratitude for the opportunity to engage with senior leadership and better understand strategic priorities.

The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, fostering a spirit of mutual respect and collective responsibility. Both civil and military leaders reaffirmed their commitment to Pakistan’s progress, reinforcing the significance of institutional collaboration in overcoming national challenges.
