QUETTA: The Secretary for Sports and Youth Affairs Balochistan, Durra Baloch, has announced that the All Pakistan Chief Minister Balochistan Football Gold Cup will begin on July 15 at the Ayub Sports Complex Football Ground in Quetta. The opening match, set for 6:30 PM, will see Baloch Club Nushki take on Afghan Club Chaman in an exciting showdown.
Speaking at a preparatory meeting, Durra Baloch stated that the tournament will provide a platform for young athletes to showcase their talent while offering fans the chance to witness high-quality football. He emphasized that the Balochistan government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and Advisor for Sports Meena Majeed, is fully dedicated to promoting sports in the province and has mobilized all necessary resources to ensure the event’s success.
The tournament will feature over 50 football teams from across Pakistan, with matches scheduled day and night to maximize excitement and engagement. The Department of Sports Balochistan has pledged complete facilities for players and spectators, with strict oversight to prevent any lapses in arrangements.
The Gold Cup aims to boost football’s popularity in Balochistan while fostering a healthy, competitive environment for youth.
