Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour has officially become the highest-grossing country tour of all time, raking in over $400 million, according to Live Nation. The milestone, reported by Billboard, also cements the superstar as the highest-grossing Black artist and R&B artist in history.
The 43-year-old icon has shattered yet another record, becoming the first woman and first American act to have two separate tours (Renaissance and Cowboy Carter) each surpass $400 million in revenue. The tour, which kicked off in Los Angeles in late April, featured hits like Texas Hold ‘Em and 16 Carriages, with Beyoncé sharing the stage with her daughters and paying tribute to Black pioneers in country music.
The tour concluded in spectacular fashion in Las Vegas, with surprise appearances from Jay-Z, Destiny’s Child, and country artist Shaboozey. The 32 sold-out stadium shows across North America, the UK, and Europe celebrated Black contributions to country music—a theme central to her Grammy-winning Cowboy Carter album.
Despite her Texas roots, Beyoncé has faced backlash in the country music scene, including racist remarks after her 2016 CMA Awards performance. Yet, her historic 2025 Grammy win for Best Country Album and the tour’s massive success prove her undeniable impact on the genre.
While Cowboy Carter’s $400 million haul is staggering, it still trails Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, which earned a record $2 billion from 2023 to 2024. Nevertheless, Beyoncé’s latest triumph reinforces her status as a boundary-pushing legend in music.
