Lahore : The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab has reported low-level flooding in the Indus River at Chashma Barrage, while water levels at major dams and barrages remain under observation.
According to the PDMA, Tarbela Dam’s water level has risen to 1,546 feet, reaching 96% capacity, while Mangla Dam stands at 1,205.25 feet, 63% full. The Indus River is experiencing low-level flooding at Chashma Barrage, but flows at Tarbela, Kalabagh, Taunsa, Guddu, Sukkur, and Kotri barrages remain normal.

Precautionary Measures:
Authorities have imposed Section 144 around major rivers, canals, and streams across Punjab to ensure public safety. The PDMA continues to monitor the situation closely.
