Four Killed as Wedding Party Bus Plunges Into Ravine Near Muzaffarabad

Four people lost their lives and nine others were injured when a bus carrying a wedding party veered off the road and fell into a ravine in the Danna police jurisdiction near Muzaffarabad. The accident occurred in the Ponyo Gali area as the bus was traveling from Chamankot in Bagh district to Danna in Muzaffarabad.

Police reported that two passengers, including a woman, died instantly at the scene, while two others later succumbed to their injuries in the hospital. Rescue officials confirmed that four of the injured are in critical condition and receiving urgent medical treatment.

All injured individuals have been transported to a nearby hospital for care, while the bodies of the deceased have been sent to their native village for burial. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, with initial reports suggesting possible brake failure or driver error.
