Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon hailed Pakistan’s armed forces for delivering an “unparalleled and historic” defeat to India, calling it a humiliating loss for the neighboring country. Addressing the media at the departure ceremony of a special Independence Train in Karachi, he commended PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for exposing Indian PM Narendra Modi’s policies globally, which he claimed led to criticism even within India.
Memon emphasized national unity, stating that Sindh’s Chief Minister had called for a joint meeting of all political parties to tackle challenges collectively. He highlighted Pakistan’s sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, asserting that the nation seeks only peace. The Independence Train, flagged off by the Sindh Culture Department, featured cultural performances and a 78-pound cake-cutting ceremony at Karachi’s Cantt Station, marking spirited Independence Day celebrations.
