Dadu Report by SM Leghari
According to the report, in Government Girls Degree College Dadu, hundreds of admission and enrollment forms of students have gone missing. It has also been revealed that millions of rupees were collected from students under challan (fee slips), but the money was embezzled, putting the future of the students at stake.
The female students staged a protest inside the college, stating that huge amounts were taken from them in the name of challan fees, which have now been misappropriated. Furthermore, their original documents have also gone missing.
The students complained that their education is being destroyed and no authority is willing to take notice of the matter. They warned that if justice is not provided, they will be forced to abandon their education halfway.
The protesting students have appealed to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah, Sindh High Court, the Session Judge of Dadu, and the district administration to take immediate notice of the issue and ensure justice.
Otherwise, they announced, they will go on a hunger strike till death in front of Dadu Press Club.
