Ranipur (Sajid Ansari) In Taluka Sobhodero, a remarkable campaign titled “Green Taluka Sobhodero” was launched under the leadership of Assistant Commissioner Sobhodero, Shahrukh Maghnohar, aimed at environmental improvement and a greener Sobhodero. The inauguration ceremony witnessed the participation of the Awami Press Club Ranipur team, civil society representatives, and a large number of citizens.
On this occasion, President of Awami Press Club Ranipur, Zigham Raza Mughal, General Secretary Sajid Ali Karbalai Ansari, social leader Ustad Arshad Mallah, and other notable citizens attended. They appreciated this eco-friendly initiative and termed the AC’s efforts highly important.
Addressing the gathering, AC Shahrukh Maghnohar said that the goal is to launch large-scale tree plantation drives across Sobhodero to not only reduce pollution but also make the region greener and more pleasant. He informed that tree plantation has already started at primary schools, high schools, colleges, government hospitals, and railway stations, and the campaign will soon expand to every village.
Speaking further to the media, he added:
We are striving to provide wheelchairs for disabled children studying in the educational institutions of the Taluka. Alongside this, the public issues highlighted by Awami Press Club Ranipur will also be addressed with immediate action.”
Acknowledging the role of Awami Press Club Ranipur, he said:
Awami Press Club Ranipur has truly become the voice of the people of this city. Its efforts are commendable, and together, we will take practical steps for the betterment of the city and the Taluka.”
The ceremony was attended in large numbers by civil society members, social activists, and the local community, who appreciated the initiative of the Assistant Commissioner.
