Malir ( Reporter) A crucial meeting was held at the residence of STP leader Shamshad Zehrani in Ghaghar to address long-standing local problems. The meeting was attended by a large number of political and social leaders along with respected community members.Prominent participants included Abdul Majeed Chachar, Fayaz Atiero, Singhar Bledi, Jaman Shuja, Manwar Kandhro, Irfan Jokhio, Nabi Bux Bledi, Baqa Muhammad Durrani, Abdul Qadir Magsi, Abdul Jabbar Lund, Ali Ahmed Laghari, Shamshad Zehrani, and Jan Muhammad Jani Haidari, among others.During the meeting, it was unanimously decided that a protest demonstration will be held on Friday, September 5, at 10:00 AM in front of Ghaghar UC Office. The protest will highlight pressing civic issues including shortage of drinking water, broken roads, and the dysfunctional sewerage system.
Participants further resolved that official applications regarding gas, electricity, and encroachment problems will be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner Malir and heads of relevant departments. The future course of action will be finalized in the next meeting.At the conclusion of the session, leaders jointly appealed to the Chief Minister Sindh, IGP Sindh, SSP Malir, and SHO Steel Town to take urgent action for the safe recovery of Akram Zehrani, a poor laborer from Ghaghar, who is currently in the captivity of bandits.
