Tando Adam Laborer Protests Police Inaction After Daylight Burglary, Threatens Hunger Strike

Tandoadam (Reporter: Ahsan kaloi )A laborer, Lakhano Theem, a resident of Theem Colony in Tando Adam city, staged a protest against a burglary at his house.

He complained that in broad daylight, thieves stole cash worth one hundred thousand rupees, a mobile phone, and clothes purchased for his son’s wedding. He said that he had lodged an NC (non-cognizable report) at Tando Adam City Police Station, but no action had been taken by the police.

He further stated that he had been receiving life and financial threats for a long time. According to him, if the police want, they can recover the stolen belongings within two hours, but they are acting as silent spectators.

He demanded that the SSP Sanghar recover the stolen goods from his house; otherwise, he would go on a hunger strike.
