DG ISPR Rejects Separatist Agenda, Exposes India’s Role in Balochistan Unrest

ISLAMABAD: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has categorically stated that Balochistan is an inseparable part of Pakistan, dismissing any notion of separation.

Speaking at the Hilal Talks forum, attended by over 1,950 senior educators, the DG ISPR accused India of financing and sheltering the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), labeling the group as “Fitna-e-Hindustan” (India’s Mischief). He revealed that the BLA leadership operates from India, describing its members as “India’s bought-and-paid-for slaves.”

The military spokesperson warned that India’s interference threatens not only Pakistan but regional stability. He expressed confidence that Balochistan will one day become Pakistan’s richest province, citing its deep integration into the national economy.

Separately, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stressed the need to reintegrate those misled by extremists in Balochistan. During a grand Jirga in Quetta, he announced that 25% of the next PSDP budget would be allocated to the province, along with laptop schemes for students. He also pledged funds for the Karachi-Quetta highway, previously dubbed a “bloody highway” due to militant attacks.
