Johi: Report by Mansoor Gadehi Central leader of JSQM (Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz Bashir.Qurashi Group), Dr. Niaz Kalani, visited Johi to offer condolences to nationalist worker Qurban Khokhar on the death of his mother. Speaking to the media on the occasion, Dr. Niaz Kalani said, “12.6 million acres of Sindh’s land have been handed over to companies. When it rains in Sindh, the citizens suffer, and the rulers are responsible for all of this.”
He further stated, “Funds of Union Councils and Town Committees are being consumed by those living in bungalows. After rainfall, water remains stagnant in cities for months.” Dr. Kalani added, “The irrigation system is being controlled by a specific group of people. Irrigation officials only pretend to work—no real work is being done.”
