Historic MoU Signed in Dadu to Boost Education and Community Development

Dadu (Report By SM Leghari) Prof. Dr. Azhar Ali Shah, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Sindh University Campus Dadu, Dr. Asif Channa, Syed Naveed Shah, and NHCD Deputy Director Dadu, Pehlwan Khan Magsi, signed the MoU to promote human development through education, literacy, research, capacity building, and community engagement.

Since 2002, the Pakistan National Commission for Human Development has been working under the Federal Ministry of Education. In collaboration with all universities of Pakistan through the Higher Education Commission. With join collaboration, it has been engaged in education, research, literacy, capacity building, and community engagement at the district level.

This MoU also includes the Roshan Pakistan – Each One Teach One Education Emergency Project along with gender studies and social advocacy awareness campaigns.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Azhar Ali Shah said that community engagement is also a part of our campus curriculum, therefore, in collaboration with the Federal Commission, we will organize seminars, workshops, and conferences on education, research, literacy, capacity building, and community engagement, while also providing internships to students.
