Tando Bago (Report: Shabeer Chandio) The employees of Tando Bago Civil Hospital continued their protest for the eleventh consecutive day in front of the hospital gate against not receiving their group insurance, retirement, and pension benefits. Doctors including Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Junejo, Dr. Tasawar Khawaja, Dr. Hanif, Dr. Zahoor Majeed Memon, Dr. Inayatullah Memon, and Mubashir Khatri along with all hospital staff participated in the protest and raised slogans. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Junejo said: “On the 6th, we will hold a major protest demonstration in Karachi to secure our rights and to inform the public that, just like in other provinces, employees in Sindh are also entitled to these benefits.” Dr. Junejo further stated that if the government fails to fulfill their demands, a complete boycott of the hospital will be observed, and no patient will be treated or checked except in the emergency ward. They made it clear that the protest will continue until the negligence of the Sindh government comes to an end.
