Nicole Kidman is maintaining a full professional and personal calendar in the wake of her unexpected separation from Keith Urban.
According to relationship expert Susie Kim, this active schedule represents a constructive coping strategy following the breakup. The actress recently garnered significant media attention at Paris Fashion Week, where she was accompanied by her two daughters, 17-year-old Sunday Rose and 14-year-old Faith.
Coinciding with this, Kidman made one of her first major public appearances since the divorce announcement in her new role as Chanel’s latest brand ambassador.
Kim suggests that the 58-year-old star’s packed itinerary in recent weeks is a positive approach to navigating the end of her marriage. “I think it really helps to keep busy and reconnect with or keep engaged with all of the things that you love,” Kim stated in an interview with nine.com.au.
She elaborated that during a relationship, individuals often dedicate less time to their personal passions or may grow distant from friends. Kim explained that a period of separation is an opportune time to remain occupied and focus on activities that bring joy.
“Get back into your really healthy routines, like exercise and seeing your friends and family,” she advised, also encouraging Kidman to revive her existing interests and hobbies or even explore new ones.
Kidman and Urban announced their surprising decision to divorce after 19 years of marriage, having originally wed in 2006.
