Model and entrepreneur Bella Hadid is marking her birthday month by offering fans a personal look into her life in Texas. This past Wednesday, she posted a 20-image carousel on Instagram, documenting her recent birthday festivities.
The collection of photos includes a candid shot of her boyfriend, professional equestrian Adan Banuelos, smiling as he carries two red balloons through a moodily lit bar.
“Birthday week… Flying straight from this kind of Love into the VS show two years in a row … Makes me feel so grateful for my Texas family and loved ones,” Hadid, 29, wrote in her caption. “Thankful to God for these moments. You make me feel so so loved even when we’re showing. Lucky Girl … 29.”
Hadid, who has been in a relationship with the professional horse trainer since October 2023, included several pictures featuring horses, reflecting the life she has cultivated since moving to Texas.
The model first encountered Banuelos at a horse show. In a June interview with British Vogue, she recalled, “I saw him walk in and it was like a gust of fresh air… I was getting a cowboy hat fitted and I thought, ‘That’s the one. I always wanted the cowboy.’” She noted that he did not recognize her, which she described as “a breath of fresh air.”
Speaking to Allure in April, Hadid referred to Banuelos as her “partner” and “an incredible older businessman,” adding that he has been a supportive presence as she has taken a step back from her modeling career.
Hadid made a return to the runway on October 15 for the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York City. This appearance came just weeks after she was hospitalized for complications related to Lyme disease.
Reflecting on the challenging experience in her Instagram Stories after the show, she joked, “Ok, we’re not going to pretend these wings weren’t 50 pounds but how beautiful.”
The Victoria’s Secret brand joined in the birthday celebrations, commenting “Happy birthday angel,” along with an angel wing emoji, on Hadid’s post.
