Al-Khidmat Foundation President Reviews Projects in KP’s Northern Districts

PESHAWAR: Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan President Prof. Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rehman concluded a two-day visit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s northern districts on Sunday, inspecting ongoing humanitarian projects in Buner, Swat, Malakand, and Lower Dir. The visit included reviews of disaster centers, hospitals, Aghosh Homes for orphans, and educational facilities.

During the tour, Dr. Rehman inaugurated a newly constructed block at Al-Khidmat Hospital in Zawar Baba (Lower Dir) and launched the second phase of the Banu Qabil Program, offering free IT courses to empower youth with employable skills. He was accompanied by Jamaat-e-Islami KP Ameer Inayatullah Khan, Al-Khidmat KP North President Fazal Mahmood, and other senior officials.

The delegation also attended a dinner hosted by Swat’s medical community and inaugurated Al-Khidmat Foundation’s new regional office in Gulabad, Chakdara. These initiatives underscore the organization’s commitment to expanding healthcare, education, and livelihood support across the province.

Dr. Rehman emphasized Al-Khidmat’s focus on sustainable development, particularly in post-conflict regions, through projects addressing immediate needs and long-term rehabilitation. The foundation continues to play a pivotal role in KP’s social welfare landscape, with recent expansions strengthening its service delivery network.
