Atiqa Odho Criticizes Feroze Khan’s Acting as “Staged” and Image-Conscious

Celebrated senior Pakistani actor Atiqa Odho has recently made headlines for her candid critique of fellow actor Feroze Khan’s performance in his new drama serial, Main Zameen Tu Aasman, which is airing on Green Entertainment. Odho, who is currently a judge on Kya Drama Hai and is known for her unfiltered opinions, did not hold back in her assessment of Khan’s acting style.

Speaking about his performance, Odho stated that Khan’s primary issue is his inability to step out of his on-screen heroism. She argued that he is consistently “too much of a hero” and fails to genuinely immerse himself in his characters. Instead, he remains focused on maintaining his façade and public image, which detracts from the authenticity of his performances.

Odho elaborated that his acting comes across as “choreographed and thought out,” with an uptight body language that lacks natural ease. She observed that he seems to put more effort into his physical appearance and style than into delivering a believable and organic performance. This self-conscious approach, she concluded, makes his acting feel staged rather than real.

This critique underscores a significant barrier Odho believes is holding Feroze Khan back: his preoccupation with image prevents him from being perceived as a “proper actor.” Her comments have sparked discussion among fans and industry observers, highlighting the ongoing debate about style versus substance in television acting.
