In a sharp critique of the provincial administration, the Awami Jamhoori Party has strongly condemned the filing of what it calls a “false FIR” against an individual named Zain Shah, declaring it a symbol of the Sindh government’s complete failure.
The accusation was made in a joint statement issued by the party’s central leadership, including President Noor Nabi Rahujo, Sain Khadim Talpur, Syed Lal Shah, Kaleem Malik, Bashir Chandio, and Sher Chandio. The leaders asserted that the FIR is not an isolated incident but a deliberate tactic to intimidate and suppress peaceful protestors across Sindh.
The statement drew a pointed comparison to highlight the government’s alleged bias. The leaders claimed that despite an incident in Moro involving police brutality and an attack by private thugs that led to a martyr’s death, no FIR has been registered for that killing. Conversely, they stated, false cases are being promptly filed against citizens who engage in peaceful protest, which they labeled as a clear sign of the government’s incompetence and malicious intent.
Further escalating their criticism, the party leaders alleged that Sindh is under the control of thieves and bandits, with the police and elected representatives acting as accomplices to criminals. They claimed that under this patronage, criminal activities are flourishing in the province.
The Awami Jamhoori Party demanded that the Sindh government cease its support for criminal elements and instead stand with the people. They called for immediate action against offenders and the urgent withdrawal of the false FIR registered against Zain Shah.
