Houston, Texas, USA: Abid Lashari, President of the National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) Pakistan and recipient of the Pakistan Civil Award Tamgha-i-Imtiaz, addressed the 41st SANA Convention in Houston, Texas.
During his speech, Mr. Lashari showcased the progress and achievements of NDF in providing free rehabilitation services for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Sindh province. He extended gratitude to the Government of Sindh and the Government of Pakistan for their continued support and recognition of NDF’s work.
Highlighting the urgent need for collective responsibility, Mr. Lashari appealed to the Sindhi Association of North America (SANA) to allocate resources and support initiatives for children with disabilities in Sindh.
SANA leaders, including President Maqbool Halipoto, Asad Ali Sheikh, and Dr. Nasir Jamal Pathan, praised and acknowledged the remarkable services of NDF in empowering children and families in Sindh.
