Kakar Report: (Rashid Naich) A land dispute in Kakar’s village Allahdino Panhwar has taken a serious turn after opponents allegedly held a Class Six student hostage and subjected him to torture.
In this regard, local youth Talib Hussain Panhwar, along with his younger brother Altaf Hussain, reached Kakar Press Club and staged a protest. Speaking to the media, he accused members of the rival party — including Khanzadi Panhwar, Nazir Panhwar, Bashir, Nisar Panhwar, and others — of forcibly occupying their land for the past four years, despite the case being under trial in court.
He stated that on Tuesday evening, his younger brother Altaf Hussain went to their land, where the accused tied his hands and feet, kept him hostage for an hour, and brutally tortured him. “When I reached there after hearing his cries, I managed to free him,” he added.
Talib Hussain further alleged that although an FIR was lodged at Kakar Police Station, the police have so far refused to take action against the culprits. He said the rival party is pressuring them to withdraw from the land case and has been issuing threats of dire consequences.
The protestors appealed to SSP Dadu and other authorities to take immediate legal action against the accused and ensure protection of their lives and property.
