CM Bugti Vows to Crush Terrorism, Honors Martyrs on Independence Day

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti paid homage to Pakistan’s founding generation and armed forces during Independence Day celebrations, recalling their bravery in historic battles. He praised the leadership of the president, prime minister, and military commanders, emphasizing how the nation stood united against past threats.

Bugti strongly denounced terrorists attempting to destabilize Pakistan, particularly in Balochistan. “A small group is trying to break the country by force,” he said, highlighting attacks on civilians, including women, children, and bus passengers. He lamented how these militants are destroying Balochistan’s traditional values of hospitality and peace.

The CM honored the martyrs from the Pakistan Army, police, and security agencies, reaffirming the state’s determination to eliminate terrorism. “We will look these terrorists in the eye,” he declared, vowing to end the wave of violence that has plagued the province.

Despite challenges, Bugti expressed confidence in Balochistan’s restoration of peace. “The sun of peace will rise brightly here,” he assured, urging citizens to support security forces in their fight against extremism. His speech underscored both pride in Pakistan’s resilience and a firm commitment to defeating terrorism.
