CM Maryam Nawaz Calls for National Accountability on Independence Day

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, in her Independence Day message, urged Pakistanis to engage in self-reflection, asking, “Pakistan gave us dignity and freedom—what have we given back?” She expressed gratitude for the blessings of a free homeland and paid tribute to the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Iqbal, and the countless martyrs who sacrificed for the nation’s independence.
