Deputy Commissioner Attock Chairs Meeting to Review Anti-Dengue Campaign

ATTOCK: A key meeting concerning the ongoing anti-dengue campaign was held on Friday, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Rao Atif Raza.

The session was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) General Anil Saeed, officers from the health and education departments, District Deputy Health Officers (DDHOs), and other relevant officials. District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. Kashif Hussain provided a comprehensive briefing on the measures currently being implemented under the anti-dengue initiative.

Addressing the participants, Deputy Commissioner Rao Atif Raza directed all departments to fulfill their responsibilities and play an active and complete role in the eradication of dengue. He stressed that the district and tehsil administrations, along with all government institutions—especially the health department—must ensure effective coordination and take concrete measures to completely eliminate dengue larvae across the district.

The Deputy Commissioner further instructed all officers to rigorously adhere to dengue prevention protocols within their respective offices and to prioritize public awareness efforts at every level.

He also made a direct appeal to citizens, urging them to maintain clean and dry surroundings to prevent the breeding of dengue mosquitoes, thereby protecting themselves and their families from the viral disease.
