Family Demands Justice in Tando Adam: 40-Day Wait for Action After Alleged Murder

Tando Adam ( Ahsan Kaloi)In the suburban village of Panah Shah, Tando Adam, the brother of a woman allegedly murdered 40 days ago staged a protest outside the Tando Adam Media Club.Mumtaz Rind, the brother of the deceased woman Gulzadi, wife of Manthar Rind, alleged that his sister was killed by her husband Manthar Rind along with his associates Fida Hussain Rind, Dilbahar Rind, and Habdar Rind.
He further stated that the accused attempted to portray the murder as a suicide.According to him, the family had been struggling to get an FIR registered, which was eventually lodged on August 16 at Tando Adam B-Section Police Station on court orders. Following this, the police arrested two suspects, Manthar Rind and Habdar Rind, while Fida Hussain and Dilbahar Rind were released on bail.Mumtaz Rind claimed that the accused were issuing threats of further financial and physical harm to his family.
He added that his sister was buried without a post-mortem examination, and though the court later ordered exhumation and post-mortem, the orders had yet to be carried out.He demanded that the Sindh Government and the Inspector General of Police Sindh cancel the bail of the accused, arrest them, and ensure protection for his family.
