Five Killed, Over 20 Injured as Passenger Coach Overturns in Nawabshah

In a tragic road accident on Sunday, at least five people were killed and more than twenty others sustained serious injuries when a speeding passenger coach overturned. The incident occurred at Singerah Mori on the National Highway near Qazi Ahmed, within the Nawabshah district.

The ill-fated coach was traveling from Multan to Karachi when it met with the accident. Emergency services rushed to the scene, and the victims were promptly transferred to nearby hospitals in Qazi Ahmed, Nawabshah, and Shahpur Jehanian for treatment. Motorway Police officials confirmed the casualty figures and stated that a comprehensive investigation into the cause of the overturning has been launched.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah expressed profound sorrow upon learning of the tragedy. He immediately directed the Commissioner of Shaheed Benazirabad to ensure that the injured receive immediate and comprehensive medical care. Furthermore, the Chief Minister instructed the local administration to provide full support and assistance to the families of the deceased and those injured in the devastating crash.
