Former Afghan General Exposes India-Taliban Financial Nexus Targeting Pakistan

In a startling revelation, retired Lieutenant General Sami Sadat, former Director of Afghanistan’s Military Intelligence, has disclosed that India is providing financial support to the Afghan Taliban for sponsoring terrorist activities against Pakistan. The high-ranking ex-official confirmed the Taliban are using these funds to back banned militant organizations operating in Pakistan.

General Sadat, who previously commanded Afghanistan’s Special Operations Forces, revealed that Indian money is being funneled to the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Baloch separatist groups. He described these recipients as “Khawarij insurgents” and emphasized the Taliban are actively financing organizations conducting terrorist attacks within Pakistani territory.

These disclosures substantiate recent statements by Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif regarding collaboration between the Afghan Taliban and India. The former Afghan military official’s testimony provides credible evidence supporting Pakistan’s position about external forces destabilizing the region through terrorist proxies.

The revelations highlight an emerging security paradigm where the Taliban, despite their own insurgency background, are allegedly facilitating cross-border terrorism. This development complicates regional dynamics and raises serious questions about India’s purported role in undermining Pakistan’s stability through non-state actors
