From Malir to Kashmore: JSQM Holds Protest Rally Against Rising Crime and Lawlessness

Malir (Reporter) In protest against the worsening law and order situation and rising incidents of robbery, abduction, and drug trafficking across Sindh, the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) took out a rally from Razzaqabad Chowk which culminated in a sit-in outside the Malir Press Club. The rally was led by JSQM leaders Mukhtiar Soomro, Murtaza Junejo, Hafeez Sindhi, Sabir Himayati, Usama Kehar, Saeed Mari, and Ayub Pehnwar.
A large number of citizens, along with JSQM workers, participated in the protest. The demonstrators carried banners and placards inscribed with slogans such as “Arrest the killers of Muthal Sabzoee in Kashmore,” “Restore peace in Sindh,” and “Protect the citizens.”
Addressing the gathering, JSQM leaders said that from Malir to Kashmore, people are suffering due to increasing robberies, kidnappings, looting, and the unchecked spread of narcotics, while the government and relevant institutions have completely failed. “Day by day crime is on the rise, yet no effective measures are being taken against criminals,” they said.The protesters demanded the immediate arrest of criminals and their trial in a court of law. They also called for the arrest of those involved in the murder of Muthal Sabzoee, brother of JSQM President Weildano Sabzoee, who was killed in Kashmore during a robbery attempt. At the same time, they demanded action against the culprits who recently looted a motorcycle, cash, and mobile phones from Ayub Pehnwar and Ghulam Nabi Pehnwar in Arib Pehnwar Goth, Malir.
