General Sahir Shamshad: Pakistan Relied Solely on Its Own Resources in Recent India Conflict

Rawalpindi – Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, stated that Pakistan handled the recent military conflict with India independently, without receiving assistance from any external country.

In an interview with a British media outlet, General Shamshad emphasized that all operations conducted during the 96-hour standoff with India were managed solely by Pakistan’s own capabilities.

When asked about China’s role, General Shamshad clarified that while Pakistan has purchased some equipment from other countries, the recent conflict saw exclusive reliance on Pakistan’s indigenous military capabilities. He added that Pakistan utilized systems comparable to those used by India, and no external support was sought or received during the confrontation.
