Mehar(Report Mujeeb Rahman Qambrani): In connection with the arrival of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the Hussaini community of Mehar, led by Allama Ali Hassan Panhwar Hussaini, took out a grand procession. The procession started from Mehar Court Masjid and went through Ghanta Ghar Chowk and National Press Club Mehar, covering the entire city.
The procession was attended by Allama Ali Hassan Panhwar Hussaini, Chairman of Shari Ittehad Mehar, Niaz Ali Buriro, Hafiz Muhammad Nawaz Solangi, Hafiz Dildar Chandio, Hafiz Gada Hussain Chandio, Sher Muhammad Agro, Naeem Agro, Hafiz Shafiq-ur-Rehman Qambarani, and other scholars, Huffaz-e-Quran, and lovers of the Prophet (peace be upon him), as well as political, social, and business leaders.
The slogans of “Marhaba, arrival of the Prophet (peace be upon him)” echoed everywhere. Addressing the gathering and speaking to the journalists at National Press Club Mehar, the leaders said that the month of the Prophet’s arrival is a message of joy and light not just for Muslims but for the entire universe.
They said that the month of Rabi-ul-Awal holds great significance in Islamic history. They added that they would celebrate the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awal with great enthusiasm and reverence, and a series of processions and gatherings would be held throughout the month.
They warned the administration to decorate the mosques and places of worship, and to ensure better cleanliness arrangements.
