Johi: Protest on Johi-Dadu road by the heirs of Ali Nawaz Laghari, who was killed a week ago in a clash between Laghari and Mastoi communities over a land dispute in village Bajhi Khan Laghari near Johi, due to failure to arrest the main accused
In this regard, Asif Laghari, Ayaz Laghari, Moazzam Laghari, and others, while speaking to journalists said that during the land dispute, armed men from the Mastoi community opened fire, resulting in the death of Ali Nawaz Laghari.
They stated that even after a week, the main accused has not been arrested and is roaming freely. Today, when Moazzam Laghari was returning from the city to the village, the opponents again opened fire, but the young man narrowly escaped and reached the city safely.
They further said, “Despite being the victims, we are the ones receiving threats.” They demanded the IGP Sindh, DIG Hyderabad, SSP Dadu, and other authorities to take immediate notice of the matter and arrest the culprits involved in the murder of Ali Nawaz Laghari and ensure strict punishment
