Khairpur Nathan Shah: At Taluka Hospital Khairpur Nathan Shah, a strong protest was held against the controversial law introduced by the Sindh government regarding pensions. Hospital staff, including Dr. Abdul Jabbar Lander, Mehboob Zangejo, Shah Muhammad Leghari, Noor Bano Mallah, and others, wore black armbands and staged a protest in front of the hospital.
The protesting staff said that the Sindh government’s decision to abolish or cut pensions is an anti-people policy that would put the future of thousands of employees and their families at risk.
They added that due to this policy, not only will government employees face severe difficulties, but a wave of disappointment will also spread among the younger generation.
Furthermore, they demanded that the Sindh government immediately withdraw this “black law” on pensions; otherwise, the scope of protest will be expanded to the district, provincial, and eventually across all of Sindh.
