Pakistan’s Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has once again accused India of using terrorism to suppress Pakistan’s progress. In a recent interview with Al Jazeera, he stated that India is acting as a “bully,” employing terror cells and transnational assassinations to destabilize the country. He asserted that New Delhi’s primary objective is to keep Pakistan embroiled in violence, preventing it from realizing its economic and strategic potential.
Lt Gen Chaudhry emphasized that India seeks to widen the power gap between the two nations to establish itself as a “regional hegemon.” He pointed out that Indian terrorism in Pakistan takes multiple forms, including covert operations by RAW operatives. The military spokesperson cited concrete evidence, including financial transactions and intercepted communications, linking Indian intelligence officials to terror financing and targeted killings within Pakistan.
The DG ISPR specifically named Major Sandeep, a serving Indian military intelligence officer, as a key figure behind IED attacks across Pakistan. He revealed that Pakistan has publicly documented proof of RAW’s involvement in terror activities, including audio recordings of operatives coordinating attacks from Lahore to Quetta. “These terror cells have been active for years, with direct support from Indian agencies,” he stated.
Lt Gen Chaudhry called on the international community to hold India accountable for its state-sponsored terrorism. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to exposing these threats while ensuring national security. “The evidence is undeniable—India’s destabilizing agenda must be addressed globally,” he concluded.
