Iran Claims to Uncover Israeli Drone Factory in Tehran

Iranian authorities claim to have uncovered a secret drone-manufacturing site allegedly operated by Israeli intelligence agents in Tehran. State media reported Monday that security forces raided a three-story building, confiscating more than 200 kilograms of explosives and equipment used to assemble unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The Tasnim news agency described the location as a hub for “Israeli agents to store and manufacture drones.”

Arrests and Executions Amid Rising Tensions
In separate operations, Iran arrested two individuals accused of spying for Mossad, Israel’s intelligence service. Officials also seized explosives, drone components, and launchers from the detainees. Meanwhile, Press TV reported that another alleged Mossad operative was executed Monday following a trial in Iran’s Supreme Court.

Latest Escalation in Shadow War
The disclosure follows Friday’s Israeli airstrikes on Iranian nuclear and missile facilities, which killed several military commanders and scientists. Iran responded by launching ballistic missiles at Israeli targets, causing casualties and property damage. The tit-for-tat attacks highlight the intensifying covert conflict between the two adversaries.

Growing Risk of Broader Conflict
With both nations engaging in espionage, drone warfare, and targeted strikes, analysts warn that the situation could spiral into a wider confrontation. The discovery of the alleged drone facility underscores the high-stakes intelligence battle playing out across the region, with neither side showing signs of backing down.
