A ceremony titled “Jashn-e-Azadi – Battle for Truth” was held at Government Girls Secondary Junior Model (1) School in Karachi, where participants expressed solidarity with the Pakistan Army.
The event was organized under the supervision of Headmistress Erum Ijaz Qureshi. TEO Shaista Jehan, along with students, staff, and other guests, participated enthusiastically.
The ceremony began with the national anthem. Attendees raised passionate slogans such as “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pak Army Zindabad”, paying tribute to the armed forces. Students performed patriotic tableaus, adding color and energy to the event.
Speaking to the media, Headmistress Erum Ijaz Qureshi said:
“On this occasion of Independence Day, I extend congratulations to the entire nation and salute the Pakistan Army. Our brave forces have given a befitting response to Indian aggression, raising the nation’s honor and pride across the world. We are proud of our army.”
She further emphasized:
“Youth must focus on education, as it is the key to turning the impossible into possible.
