Malir(Correspondent) Sharafi Goth police have exposed a false robbery report given by a citizen and arrested him for staging the incident.
According to police, a man named Noman lodged a complaint claiming that unidentified armed men had snatched valuables worth Rs. 250,000, along with his mobile phone and motorcycle, near Eidgah Ground Police immediately acted on the report, collected technical evidence from the scene, and launched an investigation.
During questioning, contradictions were found in the complainant’s statements, leading to his arrest During interrogation, the suspect confessed that the robbery story was entirely fabricated and planned with the help of two accomplices.
He revealed that the plan was to file a false report and keep the valuables with himself Police further disclosed that the arrested man works as a rider for a private company. A case has been registered, and further investigations are underway, while raids are being carried out to arrest the other accomplices.
