Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar declared that Pakistan’s historic victory against India has significantly elevated the country’s respect on the world stage. Speaking at a CPNE event on Friday, he emphasized that the nation stood united “shoulder to shoulder” during what he described as a critical battle of narratives. He stated that this unity was a key factor in the successful outcome.
The minister addressed the diplomatic tensions that followed the Pahalgam incident, noting that India had leveled baseless accusations against Pakistan without providing any evidence. “We fought the war of words and came out on top,” Tarar remarked, highlighting the country’s effective diplomatic and media response to counter the allegations.
Tarar praised Pakistan’s media for its constructive role in shaping global opinion, stating that it effectively “carried the state’s narrative across borders.” He also lauded the country’s air force, which he said “wrote history in the skies,” while crediting the entire nation for standing firm against what he termed Indian aggression.
The Minister concluded by asserting that this triumph has reshaped Pakistan’s global image. “With this triumph, a new Pakistan has emerged on the world map,” Tarar said, adding that the event had successfully challenged and diminished India’s “arrogance of regional power.”
