Pakistan Dispatches 18th Aid Shipment to Gaza

ISLAMABAD – Demonstrating continued solidarity with the Palestinian people, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar on Friday oversaw the send-off of Pakistan’s 18th humanitarian aid consignment to Gaza at Islamabad International Airport. The shipment was prepared under the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and coordinated by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in partnership with relevant stakeholders.

The latest consignment includes dry ration packs, Meals Ready-to-Eat (MREs), and essential medicines. Senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, NDMA representatives, and the Ambassador of Palestine to Pakistan attended the ceremony, highlighting the diplomatic and humanitarian significance of the effort.

According to official figures, Pakistan’s cumulative assistance to Gaza now stands at 1,815 tons of relief goods delivered through 18 shipments. The sustained aid drive reflects Islamabad’s commitment to addressing the urgent humanitarian needs of Palestinians amid the ongoing crisis.

In a statement, the Foreign Office reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the establishment of a sovereign, independent, viable, and contiguous Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, in accordance with United Nations Security Council resolutions.
