Pakistan and Egypt have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral ties, particularly in health and medical collaboration, during a high-level meeting between Pakistan’s Ambassador to Egypt, Aamir Shouket, and Egypt’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar.
The meeting, held at the Ministry of Health and Population in Cairo, centered on expanding cooperation in public health, medical training, pharmaceutical partnerships, and institutional knowledge exchange. Both sides reviewed the longstanding friendly relations between the two nations and explored new opportunities for joint initiatives.
Ambassador Shouket and Minister Abdel Ghaffar emphasized the importance of strengthening people-to-people and institutional linkages for mutual benefit. They expressed optimism about future projects that would leverage both countries’ expertise in healthcare and medical research.
The discussions underscored a shared vision for sustained collaboration, with both officials agreeing to further engage in policy dialogues and technical exchanges.
