However, Pakistan took complete control in the second half, unleashing a relentless attack that saw them score three more goals while completely neutralizing Bangladesh’s offense. Abdullah Awan and Hanzala Ali were the standout performers, each scoring twice, while Atif Ali and Asim contributed one goal each to secure the victory.
With this win, Pakistan now leads Group A with a perfect record of three wins, amassing nine points. Their campaign has been nothing short of spectacular, having already demolished Hong Kong 8-0 and Sri Lanka 9-0 earlier in the tournament. The team has scored an impressive 23 goals while conceding only three, showcasing their dominance in the competition.
The U-18 Hockey Asia Cup features 11 nations, including powerhouses like China, Japan, and Malaysia. Pakistan is placed in Pool A alongside China, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Hong Kong, while Pool B consists of Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Chinese Taipei.
