PPP MPA Sardar Abid Sundrani Booked for Alleged Kidnapping of Three Women and Demanding Rs. 4 Million Ransom in Mehar

Mehar (Report Mujeeb Rehman Qambarani) A case has been registered at Mehar Police Station against PPP MPA from Kashmore district and former provincial minister Sardar Abid Khan Sundrani, along with other accused, for allegedly kidnapping three women and demanding ransom.
The case has been filed at Mehar A-Section Police Station under crime number 349/2025.
According to the FIR lodged by the complainant, Ms. Hussaina, wife of Nusrat Hussain Dehar, a resident of Rampur locality in Mehar, the accused Mir Ahmed Jagirani and his mother, Ms. Naziran Jagirani, had been harassing her daughter, Ms. Fauzia, over the phone. The accused had even visited their house a couple of times.
On August 20, Mir Ahmed Jagirani from Ghotki district, along with his mother and three unidentified men, allegedly stormed into their house and, at gunpoint, kidnapped her daughter Ms. Fauzia (wife of Manzoor), Ms. Nasreen, and her niece Fatima in a Revo vehicle.
The complainant stated that after reporting the matter to local elders, they approached Sardar Abid Khan a month later. He reportedly spoke to the accused on the phone and told them to return the women, asking the complainant to visit him again on September 9 for a settlement.
However, when the complainant went to Sardar Abid Sundrani along with her son Naeem on the said date, he allegedly demanded Rs. 4 million as ransom for the release of the women. The complainant appealed that strict action be taken against the accused.
Police have registered the case, but the kidnapped women have not yet been recovered.
In the same case of kidnapping two women and a young girl from Mehar’s Rampur neighborhood, the nominated accused, Abid Ali Sundrani, filed a bail application in the court of the Sessions Judge in Dadu.
The Sessions Judge of Dadu approved interim bail for MPA Abid Sundrani against surety bonds of Rs. 50,000.
The FIR regarding the kidnapping of 32-year-old Fauzia (wife of Manzoor Dehar), 42-year-old Nasreen, and 8-year-old Fatima Dehar also includes the name of MPA Abid Sundrani as an accused for allegedly demanding Rs. 4 million in ransom for the women’s recovery.
