Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sanghar leaders strongly condemned India’s water aggression and expressed solidarity with flood-affected people.
In a joint statement, District President MPA Ali Hassan Hingorjo, General Secretary Jahangir Junejo, and Information Secretary Imran Dhamrah said that India’s sudden release of water into rivers flowing towards Punjab has created a flood-like situation in several cities including Sialkot and Narowal, causing widespread damage.
They added that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has long been campaigning against Indian water aggression and has been consistently raising this critical issue at international forums to alert the world community.
The district leaders further said that in this difficult time, the PPP stands shoulder to shoulder with the flood victims, praying that Allah may protect Pakistan from the destruction caused by heavy rains and floods.
