Protest in Tando Adam Against FIR Lodged on SUP Leader Syed Zain Shah

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A protest demonstration was held in Tando Adam on Sunday against the registration of an FIR against Sindh United Party (SUP) central leader Syed Zain Shah. The participants raised slogans and demanded immediate withdrawal of what they termed a “false case.”

According to reports, the demonstration was led by Comrade Muhammad Khan Panhwar, who, along with party workers, took out a rally that culminated in a protest in front of the Tando Adam Press Club. Members of civil society also joined the protest in solidarity.

Addressing the participants, SUP leaders including Comrade Muhammad Khan Panhwar, Gul Hassan Lakho, Raja Malokhani, Imdad Chandio, Qayoom Panhwar, Shafi Muhammad Saand and others strongly condemned the registration of cases against Mr. Zain Shah, calling them politically motivated and an attempt to silence the voice of Sindh.

The leaders said that Mr. Shah had always raised his voice for the rights of Sindh and had played a leading role in opposing the construction of canals from the Indus River. “Such false cases cannot suppress him, nor can they weaken the struggle for Sindh’s rights,” they added.

They further warned that if the cases against Syed Zain Shah were not withdrawn immediately, the protest movement would be intensified across the province.
