Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser has declared that his party is prepared to make any sacrifice to uphold constitutional supremacy and will vigorously oppose the current government.
In an exclusive interview with Dunya News, Qaiser criticized the government as “unelected” and accused it of undermining the rule of law. He highlighted ongoing legal battles, including the case on reserved seats for women, and claimed PTI is being systematically targeted.
Qaiser announced plans to resist unjust taxes and inflation, stating, “We will give the government a tough time—not for personal gain, but for the constitution and rule of law.” He also revealed that PTI’s founder (Imran Khan) would soon issue protest directives.
The PTI leader further accused the federal government of withholding Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s rightful funds, including NFC Award allocations and net hydel profits, calling these actions oppressive to the province.
