BHOPAL – Indian opposition leader Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of cowardice and blind obedience to foreign powers.
While addressing a political rally in Bhopal, Gandhi said, “I know the BJP and RSS people very well — just put a little pressure on them and they run away in fear.”
Referring to an earlier incident, Gandhi mocked Modi’s foreign diplomacy by saying, “When Trump made a gesture and asked ‘Modi ji, what are you doing?’, Modi instantly obeyed like a servant.”
He further criticized the Prime Minister, alleging that Modi’s habit of surrender dates back to post-independence India. “They’ve always had a habit of writing surrender letters after independence,” he remarked.
The comments come amid growing criticism of Modi’s government in India, particularly after facing setbacks in conflict with Pakistan and subsequently agreeing to a ceasefire — a move seen by many as a diplomatic defeat.
