Rani Pur Government Main Boys Primary School Students Deprived of Uniforms, Shoes, and Bags – Visit by Awami Press Club Team

Rani Pur (Sajid Ansari) Students of the historic and old educational institution, Government Main Boys Primary School Rani Pur, are deprived of basic facilities. This is the very school that once produced lawyers, doctors, teachers, and scholars for the city, but sadly today, the poor laborers’ children studying here are without uniforms, shoes, and school bags.

During the visit of the Awami Press Club Rani Pur team, it was observed that hundreds of innocent children were attending classes without uniforms, some in slippers or barefoot, and carrying books in their hands instead of bags. The sight was truly heartbreaking.

The students’ voices of pain
When the Press Club team asked the children why they did not wear uniforms, most of them replied with the same words:
“Our fathers are daily wage laborers, and the income is very low.”
“We are orphans; our father has passed away.”
“Our father is a barber; it is difficult to make ends meet.”
These innocent children narrated stories of poverty with tears in their eyes, leaving the team members deeply saddened. Not only is there a shortage of uniforms and shoes, but the students also lack bags, books, notebooks, and other necessary supplies. In some cases, several children share a single bag. Teachers also expressed regret that due to a lack of government support, poor students face severe obstacles in their educational journey.
Appeal for help
The Awami Press Club Rani Pur has appealed through the media to authorities, social organizations, philanthropists, and wealthy individuals of the city to provide:
School uniforms
Shoes and socks
Bags, books, and notebooks
If these children are not provided with these facilities today, they may be forced to abandon their education. This very school has the potential to produce future scientists, doctors, lawyers, and teachers for Rani Pur, but only if every responsible citizen plays their part.
Let’s unite to save the education of our children – because education is the only guarantee of a brighter future.
