RAWALPINDI: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi unveiled the results of the Intermediate Part-I (First Annual Examination 2025) on Wednesday, announcing a pass rate of 43.46 per cent.
The results were declared during a ceremony held at the Board’s office, characterized by its simplicity and dignity. The event was attended by BISE Rawalpindi Chairman Muhammad Adnan Khan, Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan, Secretary Amjad Iqbal Khattak, and other senior officials.
Out of a total of 63,494 students who submitted admission forms, 62,020 candidates sat for the examination. The results confirmed 26,951 students as successful, while 35,052 were unable to pass. Furthermore, 1,213 candidates were absent, and 261 admission forms were cancelled for various reasons.
A gender-wise breakdown of the examinees showed 23,372 male and 40,122 female candidates, underscoring the growing involvement and active participation of girls in the educational sphere.
Addressing the ceremony, Chairman Muhammad Adnan Khan extended his congratulations to the Controller of Examinations, the Secretary, and the entire staff for the fair conduct of the exams and the prompt declaration of the results.
He stated that the Board had upheld high standards of transparency and merit through professionalism, integrity, and persistent hard work, thereby setting a praiseworthy benchmark for other educational institutions.
The Chairman emphasized that student success is the Board’s foremost priority, noting that ongoing efforts are focused on enhancing academic standards by integrating modern technology, a transparent system, and a well-organized examination process.
He reaffirmed the Board’s dedication to its legacy of excellence and its commitment to forging a path toward even greater transparency, efficiency, and progress in the times ahead.
Adnan Khan added that the Board’s esteemed reputation and credibility are fruits of the collective dedication, sincerity, and teamwork of its officers and staff. “We must persist in working with a unified purpose, resolve, and professional integrity to ensure BISE Rawalpindi remains one of the nation’s premier educational boards,” he concluded.
