Dadu (Report by Abdul Qadir Mahesar) Due to the rise in water level of the River Indus, the flood situation has submerged villages in the Kacha areas of Dadu district. Meanwhile, various epidemic diseases have also spread in the affected areas. In this regard, Rescue 1122 SIEHS has set up an emergency medical camp at the LS protective embankment near Dadu for the convenience of the affected people.
Zonal Manager Mumtaz Pirzado stated that all basic medical facilities have been provided at the camp, where a female doctor along with the complete medical staff has been appointed. He further informed that patients are being provided with quality medicines, while a special team is also present to deal with possible snakebite incidents.
Mumtaz Pirzado said that Rescue teams are actively engaged day and night in the affected areas, and in case of emergencies, ambulance services are also being provided. District Manager Dodo Khan Lakhir, Station Coordinator Aqib Malik, and Emergency Medical Technician Arif Malik are also part of the Rescue team, who are busy serving the affected people.
