Malir ( Reporter): Incidents of street crime have been on the rise in the jurisdiction of Shah Latif Police Station, where armed gangs are openly looting citizens in broad daylight.In one such incident, Fazal Kareem Lashari, son of Kareem Lashari, was targeted by a gang of armed robbers. Fazal Kareem reported that while he was on his way for work near Abdullah Goth, motorcycle-riding bandits intercepted him at gunpoint. They snatched his mobile phone, cash, and his 125 motorcycle (registration number KND-5521).
When he resisted, the suspects subjected him to physical assault.Fazal Kareem further stated that after the incident, when he approached Shah Latif Police Station, officers refused to register an FIR and only entered a non-cognizable (NC) report, leaving him deeply disappointed. The victim later reached the press club to raise his voice against the worsening law and order situation.Local residents alleged that the so-called “Phoro gang” has been carrying out daily robberies in the area without fear. Fazal Kareem Lashari has demanded that police take immediate action against the culprits, arrest those responsible, and ensure protection for the citizens.
